Hawks Have High Playoff Hopes

The Seahawks are back in the hunt this year after a remarkable comeback to their 3 & 3 start to the season! After clinching the NFC West #1 seed, they had a bye this last week and will play this upcoming Saturday, January 10th against the North Carolina Panthers.

The game will be televised on Fox and starts at 5:15pm our time. The Hawks have guaranteed themselves home field advantage at the "Clink" throughout the playoffs. The winner of this game will play the winner of the Green Bay – Dallas game the following week for the NFC Championship.

I don't know about ya'll, but I'm definitely feeling that post season energy make it's way back to the Seattle area! We will not be having this weeks game in the clubhouse, but if the Hawks win, I assure you we will have the NFC Championship game on in full force the following Sunday!

GO HAWKS!

The game can be seen on FOX at 5:07pm Pacific time.

Nightmare at Beaver Lake

There's something disturbing in the woods of Sammamish.

Every year at the end of October a fearsome shadow falls over Beaver Lake Park. A group of demented, dedicated volunteers crawl out to assemble an event that will leave you screaming. Nightmare At Beaver Lake is the Seattle area’s largest indoor/outdoor haunted house.

Fear follows as you wind through a trail of terror nearly a mile long that leads you to a dreadful haunted house…

Bakes Place: Bellevue

This week I'd like to highlight a local Jazz bar and restaurant in the heart of Bellevue, WA. Bakes Place provides a one of a kind atmosphere unlike any other place on the Seattle Eastside. Great food, great cocktails and a quiet enough setting to mingle with great company makes this a must try venue for your next outing!

The artists that frequently perform here are exceptional and further add to the experience. Check out bakesplacebellevue.com for upcoming events and artist calendar.

Oh did I mention they have the largest screen in Bellevue to watch the Hawks games on?

Growing Cities: A Film About Urban Farming in America

Hey Gang,

This looked pretty interesting so I thought I'd pass it along. Thursday, November 6th from 6pm – 9pm there will be a screening of "Growing Cities" at Blakely Hall in Issaquah, WA. Looks like a really cool movie on sustainability and how things are trending back to the "grow it yourself" mentality of decades past.
