Szechuan Bean Flower: A Hidden Treasure
February 15, 2012 | windsor
The trip down a backstreet is worth the trouble to be immersed in Szechuan Bean Flower’s authentic Chinese cuisine. While their location and interior may be modest, you’ll be too distracted by the flavor of the food to even notice. Light, flavorful appetizers including pot stickers and crab Rangoon good for sharing with groups. The knowledgeable servers can guide you through the extensive entrée selections, including hand-made dumpling and noodle dishes. With entrees prices between $8 to $12, bring a group so you can sample a little of everything, such as the house duck, Szechuan fried fish, Mongolian beef, and Hot Iron tofu. Even with a group, it’ll take more than one visit to try all of Szechuan’s appetizing offerings. And almost all the dishes are gluten-free, but be wary of their spiciness!
